hello!
thank you all so much for your well wishes + thoughtful comments + emails!
i don't know what to write.
the surgeon said the surgery went well.
i didn't lose a lot of blood.
this is gross, but i still have drains coming out that empty into big plastic bulbs pinned to the bandages. mod*tot thinks the pink stuff is medicine.

i'm concentrating on mobility in my right shoulder. the nerves in my arm were severed when the lymph nodes were taken out. most of the pain is in my shoulder, under arm to waist + upper arm. it's surprisingly excruciating, but supposed to shrink to a smaller area over time.

i can type, because it doesn't involve the shoulder. mod*tot is calling me.
she is the best! she is so helpful + adorable. last night she asked me, "mommy are you done?" "done with what?" i asked her. she said,"done with cancer"
